QUOTES - Page TwoDance like no one's watching, love like you'll never be hurt, sing like no one's listening, live like it's heaven on earth.
"A life spent making mistakes is not only more honorable,
but more useful than a life spent doing nothing."
There are two great rules of life; the one general and the other particular.
The first is that everyone can, in the end, get what he wants, if he only
tries. That is the general rule. The particular rule is that every
individual is, more or less, an exception to the rule.
"Beauty, truth, friendship, love, creation - these are
the great values of life. We can't prove them, or explain
them, yet they are the most stable things in our lives."
Time is too slow for those who wait, too swift for those who fear, too long for those who grieve, too short for those who rejoice, but for those who love, time is eternity.
There are only four questions of value in life...
What is sacred? Of what is the spirit made?
What is worth living for? What is worth dying for?
The answer to each is the same. Only love.
You've got to get to the stage in life where going for it is more important than winning or losing.
No one imagines that a symphony is supposed to improve in quality as it goes along, or that the whole object of playing it is to reach the finale. The point of music is discovered in every moment of playing and listening to it. It is the same, I feel, with the greater part of our lives, and if we are unduly absorbed in improving them we may forget altogether to live them.
This life is a test.
In the book of life, the answers aren't in the back.
Life is like music; it can be composed by ear, feeling, and instinct, not by rule.
